WHAT IS RUBIGRID®?
RubiGrid® is a fully modular dash mounting platform that uses AMPS mounting balls.
Mount multiple devices and easily change the configuration and location of your mounting balls to dial in your perfect setup.
MORE THAN A PHONE HOLDER
Although this dash mount is designed to hold your phone, it can do much more than that. Whether you need to mount phones, action cameras or radios, RubiGrid® can handle it.
Our RubiGrid® dash platform is capable of securely mounting multiple devices and is compatible with both our AMPS Mounting Balls as well as 3rd party AMPS mounts.
Note: due to the smaller depth of this RubiGrid® base, we recommend our 2-Hole AMPS ball since the 4-Hole AMPS Balls do not fit.

Our precision cut metal mounting base provides a rock solid foundation for your devices and is designed to have an OEM-like fit in your van's dash.
A rock solid mounting system starts with a strong & sturdy all-metal mounting base.
Our RubiGrid® bases are made from precision laser cut metal which results in a solid foundation for mounting your devices.
ROCK SOLID INSTALLATION
All hardware is included for an extremely sturdy installation capable of supporting up to 3 devices. Installation requires the use of self-tapping screws to properly secure the RubiGrid® mount to the trim panel above the climate controls.
Note: If you wish to add additional device holders, you must have a 2-Hole AMPS ball for every additional device holder.

My only gripe is my phone sits higher than I’d like it would be really cool if it fit in one of the useless slots in the express van dash

I was having a really hard time trying to figure out how to mount two phones (personal and work) in my van. After trying a few different options, I decided to try some more sturdy and permanent. The Rubigrid and accessories fit the bill perfectly. The magnets in the mount are strong enough to hold either phone over rough Las Vegas roads. I definitely recommend this to my coworkers and others.

If purchasing any of our pre-built configurations (except for Base only), you will receive everything you need to securely mount your devices.
If you opt for the base only configuration or wish to add additional devices to the RubiGrid® base, you will need 1 AMPS ball, 1 mounting arm and 1 device holder. The exception is the action camera mount where a mounting arm is not necessary.

Our DiabloM6 magnetic phone mount requires a thin metal plate affixed to the back of your phone (even on MagSafe-equipped iPhones).
Please note that this also prevents Wireless Charging.
If you require wireless charging, we offer 2 wireless charging options: our MagSafe-compatible Wireless Charger or our Wireless Phone Charger with Motorized Cradle.

The metal plate features adhesive on the back and must be attached to your phone or case. It may not stick to all phone cases. For example, many silicone cases have non-stick properties that may not work with the metal plate.
If you have a MagSafe-compatible phone and you do not want to apply the metal plate or you wish to maintain wireless charging functionality, we offer a MagSafe-compatible phone holder.
